We are Niagara area woodworkers both Amateur and professional that get together monthly to discuss, demonsatrate, and enjoy the finer points of woodworking. Woodcarving group has attracted over 100 members, who meet on the third Monday of every month from Sept. to June. Annual dues are $15. Other activities include seminars, guest speakers, community projects and a woodcarving show and competition each March.

Woodcarving group meets first Wednesday of the month, Sept. to June, where they hold carving competitions, show-and-tell and instructional workshops. New members pay $25 with annual renewal dues of $20. Over 100 members also engage in twice-yearly social events and a fund-raising auction.

We are about 20 seniors (men and women) in a retirement community located 16 kM north of Guelph and 8 kM west of Fergus. We share our knowledge and skills 9:30 to 12 noon weekly. All forms of wood carving, some better than others Visitors welcome. All the coffee your can drink - free.

Group of 25 members pays $15 annual dues (plus $1.50 per meeting) and meets third Thursday of the month, year-round (except July) at the 105 Club in Trenton. Meetings feature demonstrations and a show-and-tell. The guild also has a member's library with books and videos.

Thames Valley Woodturners Guild

Valley Woodturners

Nonprofit group dedicated to the advancement and promotion of woodturning in the Ottawa Valley area. Annual dues are $35. Meets second Tuesday of the month from Sept. to June and hosts seminars during the year. Active at the annual Ottawa Wood Show. Conducts three courses per year on "Introduction to Woodturning." Current membership is 160.

We meet 10 times a year. We hold a Cristmas Craft Show at the Oakview Community Centre in December each year and the club meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at Wasaga at Rona.

The museum is a showcase for the art of wood carving from local and regional carvers. Annual dues $5. Open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Woodturners Guild of Ontario
The Woodturners Guild of Ontario (WGO) exists for the advancement and promotion of the craft of woodturning. Individual, family and corporate memberships are available.

This group has about 110 active members across the country. Dues are $25 annually plus $5 initiation. It meets 10 times a year in Humber College and Lee Valley in Toronto. It also hosts two competitions, one for beginners and one for advanced members. Workshops are held twice a year and are open to the public.
