Give your fence a facelift with a trellis

Embellish a basic fence with a wooden trellis

Secure the lattice to the front upright using corrosion-resistant nails.

Clamp the lattice assembly into place.

Use a hole saw to drill a large-diameter hole from the outside of the fence to recess a large washer and a galvanized lag bolt and secure the lattice assembly in place.

Using a mitre saw, cut and mitre some trim pieces to go around the perimeter of the lattice, but inside the front uprights.

Nail the trim in place with outdoor-rated hardware.
