Working with Plywood, The Key to Large Projects
While solid wood is often the preferred choice, building large expanses of cabinetry with solid wood can be extremely time consuming, having to mill and edge-glue dozens of boards and level the resulting panels. The solution is high-quality plywood.
This seminar covers proper ripping and crosscutting procedure for sheet stock, as well as attachment of solid-wood edging and iron-on edge-banding. Hendrik will also show you the router jig he uses to rout stopped dados in the case gables, customizing the fit of each dado to its own shelf—a necessary task when building with plywood.
Hendrik Varju is both a professional designer/craftsman and an experienced woodworking instructor, teaching both accurate technique and the finer safety aspects of the craft.
