Give your boring bathroom the spa treatment

Replace the sink and vanity

The American Standard vanity cabinet from Home Depot comes preassembled. The marble countertop and vessel sink are also part of the package.

Begin by turning off the hot and cold water supply from the old faucet. Remove the old lines.

Remove the sink's P-trap and drain the connection.

Have a container handy to catch any water left in the drain.

Feed the faucet connection lines through the countertop.

Position the sink in place.

Tighten the faucet securely in place from below, then connet the sink's hot and cold water-supply lines to the supply shut-off connections at the wall.

Position the new P-trap in place and connect it to the drainpipe protruding from the wall. Now, test the connections: turn on the water supply and test the drain.
